ALSA's Debut Collection at Texas Fashion Week

ALSA is a fashion label focused on comfort, functionality, and inclusivity.  The brand debuted October 2nd, 2024 at Texas Fashion Week in San Antonio.

The mini collection featured on the runway this week focuses on those three main values of ALSA, making use of soft four way stretch fabrics, adjustable elastic waistbands, and cargo pants with plenty of pockets.  The designs merge fashion with function, and creativity with comfort.

"I knew I had accomplished my mission when more than one of my models commented on how comfortable my looks were."

-Ashley Schroepfer, Designer and Founder of ALSA

The six looks that make up the mini collection are made almost exclusively of recycled denim.  When asked about possible future collections, Ashley said she would continue to focus on recycling, saying "The future of fashion is finding ways to recycle and be more sustainable."

ALSA is still in the process of creating their website, but plans to make the patchwork cargo pants and coat available online before the end of the year.  Follow @alsa.apparel on instagram for updates, behind the scenes, and design drops.
