This is a portion of the commission I did for Château Wright in Fort Davis, Texas. The original piece is made up of ten recycled wine filters from their winery, which I dried and then used as the canvas. I left raw edges so you can see the filters and their texture. The whole piece captures the winery, tasting room, and living quarters, from some of the first few rows of the vineyard, with a towering Blue Mountain in the background. I am very proud of this piece, it is something I worked on for quite a while, with many details in every piece. The final will be framed and hung at Château Wright in the coming months.
